We are stackask, a platform that allows people to ask questions and share knowledge about programming.

How do we collect user information?
- For users signing up via Google or Facebook, we use OAuth authentication provided by these platforms. We only receive basic public information such as email, user name, and avatar, in accordance with their authorization settings.
- For users who register directly, information such as user name and email is provided by the user through the registration form.
Optional information can be edited or removed by users at any time via the Edit Profile screen.
How do we store user data?
- User data is stored securely in our database and can only be accessed by authorized personnel.
- Sensitive data such as passwords is encrypted using secure hashing algorithms (such as Bcrypt). We do not store passwords in plain text and cannot decrypt them.

- We use user information solely to provide, operate, and improve the stackask platform.

- User information is processed only with user consent or when required to provide the service.
