[IT]Con đường nào để được du học bên Úc?
Mình thấy Úc là một đất nước khá yên bình và phất triển bản thân khá tốt, mình muốn du học rồi làm việc IT ở đây, vậy có những con đường nào để du học sang Úc và con đường nào là tốt nhất?

Mình đang là du học sinh ở Úc, xin phép chia sẻ hai con đường sang Úc học IT mà mình trải nghiệm hoặc thấy ở các bạn khác.
  • Nếu bạn theo con đường học thuật (như mình) thì có thể xin đi học PhD. Ở Úc, chương trình PhD  kéo dài 3 năm, và hầu hết các trường có có học bổng toàn phần RTP (Australian Government Research Training Program). Để xin được học bổng này, bạn cần có tiếng Anh (>= 6.5 IELTS), thành tích nghiên cứu (cụ thể là publications), bằng master (optional nhưng mình highly recommend nên có bằng master khi apply, vì trọng số nó cao). Sau khi tốt nghiệp, bạn sẽ được xin ở lại làm việc thêm 3 năm (hoặc 4 năm cho vùng regional).
  • Nếu bạn muốn qua đi làm, bạn có thể xin đi học master (2 năm) ở Úc. Cách này thì mình ít thấy học bổng toàn phần (trừ master by research). Học phí (~A$30k/năm) và sinh hoạt phí ở Úc cũng khá đắt đỏ. Nếu bạn chịu khó đi làm thêm, mình nghĩ sẽ đủ cover sinh hoạt phí. Sau khi học xong, bạn sẽ được xin visa ở lại thêm 2 năm để làm việc (3 năm cho vùng regional).
Trong lúc đi làm, nếu bạn tích đủ điểm di trú, bạn có thể apply xin làm thường trú nhân của Úc. Mình thấy tiểu bang New South Wales đang rất ưu tiên ngành IT. Tiêu bang này cũng có rất nhiều trường top về IT như The University of Sydney, The University of New South Wales, University of Technology Sydney,
Bạn cũng có thể xin qua học ở Úc ngay từ đại học, nhưng mình không rõ quy trình nên xin phép không chia sẻ. Còn nếu bạn đang đi làm ở VN, thì mình thấy apply vào công ty Úc từ VN rất khó (vì tụi nó rất ưu tiên kinh nghiệm local).
Mọi con đường đều đang bị gián đoạn vì COVID, hy vọng đại dịch sớm qua để bạn qua Úc trải nghiệm, biết đâu một ngày đẹp trời mình và bạn gặp nhau trên đất Úc :D
